Petracca is back.

The exciting Petracca is back.

He has his first start as a 4yo in the TAB We’re On Pace, 2240m, at Melbourne on Saturday night (July 20).

The Emma Stewart-trained entire has not been seen at the races since winning the Group 1 Victoria Derby on October 14 last year.

That capped off a stunning campaign in which he won six of seven starts in the space of three months.

Petracca won the Vicbred Super Series heat, semi-final and final, and Victoria Derby heat and final.

These added to his five wins as a two-year-old, which featured the Group 1 Bathurst Gold Crown final and Group 2 Tatlow Stakes.
