We’re delighted to have a starter in the Group 2 $207,000 THE HAYDEN for 3yos and 4yos at Albion Park on Saturday night (July 20).

We have combined with Queensland-based slot holders Kevin and Kay Seymour to have 4yo Free Thinker in the feature.

The son of Hurrikane Kingcole was bred and is raced by the Seymours’ Solid Earth Pty Ltd, and has drawn gate nine on the second row in the 10-strong event.

Free Thinker has won eight of 32 starts for almost $150,000.

He is twice group 3-placed and two starts ago finished second in The Queensland Sun.

The winner of The Hayden will fill Racing Queensland’s slot in the $2.1m The TAB Eureka at Menangle on September 7.

Team Zav also holds a slot in The Eureka and is yet to announce its starter.
