Team Zav hoping for a Miracle

ALL roads lead to Sydney this Saturday night for Team Zav.

Team Zav’s stable star Mach Dan will line up in his second consecutive $1m Miracle Mile at Menangle in the country’s greatest test of speed and stamina.

Mach Dan finished sixth in last year’s Mile however trainer Emma Stewart believes the 6 year old is a better horse than he was 12 months ago.

“Mach Dan always flies under the radar”, Stewart said.

Drawing barrier 8 has made it tough “the barrier plays big part in these big races and unfortunately Mach Dan has drawn poorly again, my opinion is to chance his arm off the gate” Zavitsanos said.

However, Danny will also have one eye on stable mate Captain Ravishing, his slot horse in The TAB Eureka.

Captain Ravishing ran an enormous race finishing runner in the Chariots Of Fire and creating a lot of excitement in the industry Emma has a high opinion on him.  “He’s the fastest horse we’ve got and we think you’ll see the best of him this week”, she said.
